Within the scope of the Regulation on the Amendment of the Graduate Education and Training Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated June 10, 2020 and numbered 31151, the article 35 of the Graduate Education and Training Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 20/4/2016 and numbered 29690 was added with the provision “In case of disasters and epidemics, higher education institutions may grant an additional period of one semester to graduate students in the thesis stage upon their request, and if they reapply according to the stage of the disaster or epidemic, an additional period of one more semester may be granted, not exceeding two semesters in total, and these additional periods are not counted in the maximum period” due to the Covid 19 epidemic, in order to request an additional period of one semester, you need to fill out, attached petition and sign and scan it and send it to ebe@mehmetakif.edu.tr address as an email attachment for your request to be processed.
